In what is shaping up as another fantastic finish for the Lake Conference title, both Hopkins and Edina find themselves in contention for the top spot as the final week of regular season games begins.

The Hornets and Royals sat at the bottom of the table last season but that has flipped dramatically this year. Hopkins, armed with all-state player Ashley Akin, and Edina, with all-state player Eva Anderson, have matured this season into legitimate league contenders.

In an end-of-the-season twist, the Royals and Hornets will meet on back-to-back days where their conference title credentials will be put to the test.

League title implications stretching across two games makes the first contest our pick for the Top Game of the Week.
