And the winner is...MN Soccer Hub Girls' Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from Oct. 5-10.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winners

Emily Cronkhite, Eagan. Cronkhite recorded a season-high four points on Oct. 5 in the Wildcats’ 4-0 defeat of Shakopee. The senior tallied two goals and two assists, helping the Wildcats extend their winning streak to five games. She leads Eagan's offense with eight goals and five assists this season.

Loretta Wacek, St. Paul Central. Fresh off a 2-1 loss to St. Paul Highland Park on Oct. 2 — the Minutemen's first loss of the season — Wacek and St. Paul Central came back strong for a rematch with the Scots on Oct. 9. The senior produced a season-high five points in the 6-0 win, scoring twice and adding three assists to pace the Minutemen's attack.

Top performer candidates

Madeline Dahlien, Edina. The senior has spearheaded the Hornets’ offensive production throughout the season. In two games last week, the Hornets defeated Minnetonka and Hopkins by a combined score of 10-0 with Dahlien scoring seven times. Dahlien's tallied 19 of the team’s 33 goals, which is eighth most across the state, based on stats submitted to the MN Soccer Hub.

Maren Friday, Duluth Marshall. The senior midfielder led the Hilltoppers to a two-win week with back-to-back four-point efforts at Hibbing/Chisholm (12-0 on Oct. 5) and Proctor (4-1 on Oct. 8). Friday scored three goals and added an assist in each game. She leads the team with 17 goals and is tied for the team lead with eight assists.

Kendra Nesvold, New Ulm. The senior goalkeeper was nearly perfect in the Eagles’ 2-1 defeat of Waseca on Oct. 6, surrendering just one goal. Nesvold made a season-high 19 saves to backstop the Eagles’ win.
