It was a great game. We fought hard in the first half and I was very proud of our Mustangs especially after Andrew T. nailed a sweet goal from over 20 yards away, right over the keeper. We were up 1-0 at half-time. Second half was a battle all the way through. The opposition managed to get a nice goal against us and we were on our heals. James Minor is doing very well in defense. Austin was a supreme sweeper taking away chance after chance from Edison. Christian V. was a great help coming in off the bench, really gave some players some much needed breaks. Our keeper in Joel Friese is a great athlete and had a great game. Joseph H. had some very nice moves in the middle of the field and Carlin G. ran his heart out playing some solid defense and getting involved in the attack. Andrew T. almost tied us up when he hit the cross bar from another long distance shot. In the end, Edison won 2-1. They were a quick team with a deep bench. Great game, good comeback for them.
