Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.
Paige Peltier, Cretin-Derham Hall. Peltier, a Notre Dame commit, is one of the leading scorers in the state with 18 goals. The junior forward picked up an assist in a 1-0 win over Roseville on Sept. 24, then scored three goals and tallied an assist in a 5-1 win over Forest Lake the next day.
Kelsey Kallio, Andover. The Huskies are riding an eight-game winning streak, and Kallio’s been a driving force in that effort. Her 17 goals are among the best in the state. She scored once and added an assist in a 3-0 win over Irondale on Sept. 25 and added three goals in a 9-0 win over Park Center on Sept. 29.
Katherine Schindler, Hill-Murray. The Pioneers won all three of their games last week, and Schindler provided an offensive spark in each. She scored two goals and tallied three assists in a 6-2 win over Hastings on Sept. 25 and recorded two assists in a 2-1 win over No. 7-1A Blake on Sept. 29. Schindler’s 31 points are among the state's top marks this season.
Sami Szendrey, Two Harbors. Szendrey has helped power the Agates’ success this season. She scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Duluth Denfeld on Sept. 24 and recorded two goals and an assist in a 5-3 win over North Branch five days later.
Merial Orham, St. Michael-Albertville. The Knights have won five of their last six games, and defense has been the main factor. Orham’s play in net has also been key. The sophomore goalie stopped nine shots in a 3-0 win against Brainerd on Sept. 29 and allowed one goal and made five saves in a 3-1 win over Moorhead the day before.
