We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.
Other games to keep an eye on
Eagan vs. Burnsville, 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20: After a promising 4-1-1 start, Burnsville has hit a two-game South Suburban Conference skid and is looking to rebound. A win against Eagan (6-0-3, 2-0-1), which looks to stay afloat in conference play, would turn some heads.
Stillwater vs. Woodbury, 5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20: Both No. 6-2A Stillwater (7-1-1, 2-1-0) and Woodbury (4-2-1, 1-1) are fighting for viability in a Suburban East Conference that also boasts White Bear Lake and East Ridge. A win for either team would help them keep pace with the front of the pack.
