Sept. 24: The Blaze haven't defeated the Wildcats since 2011 and look to turn that trend around starting with this regular-season matchup.

Burnsville begins this season seeking its third trip to the Class 2A state tournament in the past five years, but the Blaze will likely have to go through defending Class 2A champion Eagan to get there.

It's a path Burnsville knows well as the Blaze haven't defeated the Wildcats since 2011, including a loss last year in the Section 3 title game.

With these teams seemingly on a crash course to meet the playoffs, this regular-season matchup may provide a roadmap to a postseason victory and is our choice for the Top Game of the Week.
