Oliver Twins Score Two Each in Win

As Woodbury traveled to North St. Paul at 1 on Saturday, both teams had high expectations for the game. North had a #2 ranking, but Woodbury was undefeated on the season, and had already beaten a ranked team: Champlin Park. The game started out evenly, but the Oliver twins proved too much for Woodbury to handle. Justin Oliver scored about 10 minutes into the game on a rebound from a free kick. That goal was followed by another, this one scored by Tyler Oliver. North continued the scoring  with another goal before halftime by Justin, assisted by his brother. The second half was another story. North came out with much less intensity, opening the door for Woodbury. The Royals controlled possession in the second half, and outshot the Polars with most of their 23 shots coming in the period, but they only scored one goal. The goal came from Sebastian Usurriaga, his first career varsity goal. As the Royals pressed up searching for another goal, Tyler Oliver dribbled the ball down the majority of the field to score an impressive game-clinching goal with 4 minutes to play, making the final score 4-1. It was a very physical game with many fouls  by both teams, and 4 yellow cards against North. North moves to 3-1-1 and Woodbury falls to 3-1. The teams are both in Section 4AA, so a rematch is possible.
