Edina girls coach resigns after perfect season and state title

Katie Aafedt coached Edina 11 seasons and was involved with her alma mater's program for more than two decades.


Katie Aafedt chatted with her players during a game in 2022. Aafedt has resigned as Edina girls soccer coach.

Aafedt said she'll stay in soccer as a recruiting liaison and as a fan watching her daughter play.
