And the winner is...MN Soccer Hub Boys' Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from Oct. 5-10.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

David Garcia, Chaska. The senior forward led the Hawks to victory in the team's final game of the regular season on Oct. 6, scoring all four goals in the Hawks’ 4-0 shutout of Benilde-St. Margaret’s. The win secured the Hawks the Metro West Conference championship. Garcia's 18 goals this season is tied for ninth most in the state, according to stats submitted to the MN Soccer Hub.

Top performer candidates

Tyler Grausnick, Shakopee. Grausnick contributed a season-high five points in the Sabers’ 6-1 defeat of Farmington on Oct. 7, tallying four goals and one assist. The senior has spurred Shakopee's offense throughout the season, recording points in six of the team’s seven wins.

Nic Langlois, Grand Rapids. The senior forward scored an impressive six goals during the Thunderhawks’ dominating 9-0 victory at Hibbing/Chisholm on Oct. 6. It was a breakout game for Langlois, who had tallied a total of four goals in the team's previous nine games combined. After adding two more goals in the Thunderhawks’ 3-2 win against Duluth Denfeld two days later, Langlois leads the team with 12 goals on the season.

Bishop Schugel, Holy Family Catholic. The senior has been the driving force behind the Fire’s offense this season. His 21 goals is seven times more than the team’s next leading scorer and is tied for fourth most in the state. In the Fire’s 8-1 triumph over Delano on Oct. 6, Schugel tallied a season-high seven points with five goals and two assists.

Damien Silus, Hutchinson. The senior goalkeeper was kept busy during the Tigers’ 2-1 victory on Oct. 8, stopping 18 shots from Delano for a .947 save percentage to earn the win.
