We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Lakeville South vs. Shakopee, 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3. South Suburban Conference co-leader No. 10-2A Lakeville South (10-1-1, 6-1-0) completes both its season and its quest for the conference championship against Shakopee (7-2-4, 2-2-3), which has lost just once in its last eight outings.
Breck vs. DeLaSalle, 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 5. Senior scoring machine Kaitlyn MacBean (26 goals) leads No. 6-1A Breck (10-2-1, 4-0-1) against a DeLaSalle team (6-6-1, 3-1-1) that has lost just once after starting the season 0-5-0.
