Top Performer winner

In matches against Maple Grove and Stillwater, on Sept. 3 and 7, respectively, Harper was involved in every Cougars (4-1-0, 2-1-0) goal.

Top performer candidates

Ava Bennett, Proctor. The sophomore goalie made 21 saves to help Proctor (2-4-1, 0-2-1) earn its first victory of the season, a 2-0 shutout of Esko on Sept. 5.

Kaitlyn MacBean, Breck. A hat trick was the highlight of MacBean's play a week ago. She tallied three goals, along with an assist, as Breck (4-1-1, 1-0-1) dropped Heritage Christian 4-0 on Sept. 5.

Grace Prairie, Fridley. Eight goals in two matches from the junior midfielder powered Fridley (3-4-0, 0-1-0) to a 2-0 record last week. Prairie converted a hat trick,  guiding the Tigers past Nova Classical 3-1 on Sept. 5, then tallied five goals and an assist two days later en route to taking down Concordia Academy 6-1.

Gabbie Smith, Brainerd. Smith scored consecutive hat tricks for Brainerd (4-2-0, 4-0-0) last week, including a four-goal outburst in a 6-0 win on Sept. 5 versus Sartell-St. Stephen. This came after the senior notched three goals and an assist two days prior in Brainerd's 5-0 victory over St. Cloud Tech.
