From Hermantown AD: All parking for JV soccer games need to be in the parking lot across Arrowhead Road by the Hermantown Schools Administration Building/Hockey Arena. This includes, unfortunately, handicapped accessible parking as well. The field is then accessed by walking 500 feet down Ugstad Rd and entering the field through the opening in the fence. We asked if there could be an allowance this fall for parking during events alongside Ugstad Rd, next to the field, but were informed that this would not be allowed for traffic and safety reasons. It has seemed to work for there to be drop-offs and pick-ups by the fence opening...just please be careful with other traffic moving by along Ugstad. Eventually, the plan is for the new YMCA facility to have designated parking for us to use for future events. For now though, we need to park and walk. We want to share this information with coaches, teams, parents, and officials who are visiting to avoid problems with the construction site, which is a no trespassing zone.
