Matt Lindberg, Player of the Year

School: Edina  |  Grade: Senior  |  Position: Forward

Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year scored 14 goals, added 10 assists.

All-metro first team

Daniel Wee

School: Prior Lake  |  Grade: Senior  |  Position: Forward

Mr. Soccer finalist led Lakers to state tournament.

 

 


Kenlove Solon

School: North St. Paul  |  Grade: Senior  |  Position: Forward

Carried the rebuilt Polars. Mr. Soccer finalist.

 

 

 


Nils Gulbranson

School: Chisago Lakes  |  Grade: Senior  |  Position: Forward

Crafty with the ball. Tallied 38 goals, nine assists.

 


Blake Perry

School: Anoka  |  Grade: Senior  |  Position: Forward

Dangerous in every game. Mr. Soccer finalist. 

 

 


Herbert Endeley

School: Totino-Grace  |  Grade: Junior  |  Position: Forward

Scores with both feet and dangerous on dribble. Thirty goals, 12 assists.
 

 


Grant Tostensrud

School: East Ridge  |  Grade: Senior  |  Position: Defender

Could take over a game. Finished season with 15 goals, four assists.
 

 


Logan Huber

School: Stillwater  |  Grade: Junior  |  Position: Defender

Linchpin of stingy Ponies’ defense.

 

 


Drew Galinson

School: Wayzata  |  Grade: Senior  |  Position: Defender

Great defender, also fantastic on set pieces.

 

 


Jack Glecker

School: Maple Grove  |  Grade: Junior  |  Position: Defender

Aggressive tackler, strong one-on-one defender.
 

 


Hassan Kamara

School: Park Center  |  Grade: Senior  |  Position: Goalkeeper

Made huge saves, played his position with precision.

The Star Tribune’s All-Metro teams and Metro Player of the Year were chosen based on nominations from metro-area coaches and staff observations.
