Boys' soccer Player of the Week revealed

Player of the Week winner

Cole Tetrault, St. Cloud Cathedral: Tetrault had four goals and one assist in three victories. His two-goal performance was the difference in a 2-1 win over Bemidji on Sept. 18.

Player of the Week candidates

Carlos Momsen, Irondale: Momsen led his team to two wins in three Northwest Suburban Conference contests last week. He scored twice in a 3-1 win over Champlin Park, and he scored and assisted in the Knights' 3-2 victory over Andover. The sophomore has 13 goals in 10 games.

Wyatt Huard, New Ulm: Huard took command of the scoring load, putting in five of New Ulm's six goals in its two wins. He registered a hat trick in a 3-1 victory at Waseca on Sept. 21 and is fourth in the state in goals with 17.

Cameron Rice, Alexandria: Rice scored four goals and assisted once in three matches. Alexandria went 2-1 during the week, including a 3-2 win at St. Cloud Tech on Sept. 21 in which Rice accounted for all of the Cardinals' scoring. He has 15 goals on the season.

Carlos Gbamy, Blaine: Gbamy produced two goals and three assists for Blaine, including a posting a goal and two assists in a 3-0 win over Irondale on Sept. 19. The senior is one of the top distributors in Northwest Suburban with nine assists.
