BOYS’ FIRST TEAM

FORWARDS

Pierce Erickson, Eastview: Dangerous with the ball at his feet. Makes teammates better.

Justin Oliver, North St. Paul: Led the state in goals (37) for the second consecutive year.

Tyler Oliver, North St. Paul: The playmaking brother of Justin leads the state with 28 assists.

Suad Suljic, Minnetonka, soph.: His pure goal-scoring ability is hard to come by.

MIDFIELDERS

Korle Akiti, Blake: Class 1A Mr. Soccer winner is tall, deft with his feet, controls the air.

John Henry Neuberger, St. Thomas Academy: Strongest in the midfield, quickly turns defense into offense.

Hussein Mohamed, Columbia Heights: Scored 25 goals despite double- and triple-teams.

Will Kidd, St. Paul Como Park, jr.: Relentless, in constant motion. Tough for foes to mark.

DEFENDERS

Zach Neiberger, Minneapolis Southwest: Metro Player of the Year dominates the middle of the field for the No. 1-ranked Lakers.

Nick Stastny, Edina: Heady player with know-how and speed to win one-on-one battles.

GOALKEEPER

Kyle Lamott, Eastview, jr.: No. 1-ranked goalie in tough South Suburbam Conference. Stopped five of nine PKs, .861 save percentage.

SECOND TEAM

FORWARDS Ashenafi Hatte, Washington Technology Magnet School, jr.; Ryan Mott, Eagan; Storm Heyer, Elk River; Diego Rios, Minneapolis Southwest. MIDFIELDERS Artis Curiskis, St. Louis Park; Kevin Hoof, Maple Grove, jr.; Travis Mashuga, Anoka; Bo Gay Htoo, St. Paul Humboldt. DEFENDERS Alec Tostenrud, East Ridge; Eddie Saydee, Park Center, jr.
