See who fans voted as the Top Performer from Oct. 3-8.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.

Top performer winner

Xander Anderson, Woodbury. With more than 20 goals this season, the Royals senior forward took things up a notch in the final week of the regular season. On Oct. 4, he registered five goals in a 9-0 win. Two days later, he followed up that performance with a four-goal game against Mounds View on Oct. 6.

Top performer candidates

Joao Barros, North Lakes Academy. Barros was likely a team favorite this past week with all the assists he dished out. On Oct. 3, Barros tallied six assists and a goal in his team's win against Groves Academy. He then dished out three assists and a pair of goals against Lakes International Language Academy on Oct. 8.

Ethan Goff, New Ulm. The junior keeper had a day to remember in his team's win against Worthington on Oct. 4. Goff kept the opposition off the scoreboard with a 16-save shutout.

Jonathan Karpenko, Minnehaha Academy. The Redhawks have gotten big-time contributions all season from Karpenko. That was surely the case on Oct. 4. Trailing 4-3 in the second half, Karpenko stepped up with a goal to both tie the game and win the game, 5-4. Karpenko finished the evening with four of his team's five goals.

Jacob Tentis, Elk River. The Elks have had a tough go of it in 2022, but Tentis' play in net has certainly been a bright spot. He stopped 10 shots and allowed just two goals in games against Coon Rapids on Oct. 4 and Andover on Oct. 6. His biggest day came on Oct. 8, however, when he earned a shutout with 15 saves as Elk River picked up its first win of the 2022 season.
