Oct. 4: The Crimson have been a well-established machine once again this season while the Huskies have emerged as a new contender.

We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Other games to keep an eye on

Two Rivers vs. Hill-Murray, 5 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4. The No. 2-2A Pioneers (14-0) are looking to wrap up a perfect regular season against a familiar foe in Two Rivers (7-3-2). The Pioneers have one of the state's top juniors in Jacob Dinzeo, who has 19 goals this season. Two Rivers also has a dynamic junior in Samuel Kallon.

Winona vs. Rochester Mayo, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4. The No. 10-3A Spartans (11-1) have vaulted themselves into the top 10 in Class 3A with a nine-game win streak and look to cap off a big regular season with a Big 9 Conference title. Winona (8-1-4) has been competitive but oftentimes has struggled to pick up wins as the team enters this week with four ties.
