See who fans voted as the Top Performer from Sept. 19-24

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.

Top performer winner

Mikias Taddeas, Stillwater. The Ponies are ranked No. 1 in the latest Class 3A coaches' poll, and Taddeas' scoring ability has been a big part of that. It was especially true on Sept. 22 against Forest Lake when he tallied not only five goals but three assists to cap off a big night.

Top performer candidates

Rafael BalcazarTri-City United. Balcazar took full advantage of his team's three-game week. It started against Schaeffer Academy on Sept. 22 when he tallied two goals and an assist. A day later he had his biggest game of the week with two goals and three assists against Butterfield-Odin. Balcazar wrapped up his week with a three-goal, one-assist performance against Triton/Kenyon-Wanamingo on Sept. 24.

Maxwell Kutz, St. Croix Lutheran. Kutz was a brick wall of sorts when his squad took on Minneapolis Roosevelt on Sept. 21. The senior keeper had a 12-save shutout in his team's 1-0 win against the Teddies.

Thomas Laaksonen, Holy Family Catholic. This past week was a big one for the Fire and Laaksonen stepped up big time for his team. On Sept. 22, he poured in four goals against Hutchinson/Glencoe-Silver Lake. Two days later, he had just one goal but it was the game-winner against section rival Providence Academy as Holy Family won 2-1 on the Lions' home turf.

Evan White, Waconia. Going up against St. Louis Park and Eagan, White was a busy guy in net for the Wildcats. He posted a 13-save shutout against St. Louis Park on Sept. 21 and followed it up with another 13-save performance in Waconia's 2-2 draw against Eagan.
