And the winner is... MN Soccer Hub Girls' Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from Oct. 3-9

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Ashley Anzures, Cristo Rey Jesuit. The senior forward is up to third in the state with 28 assists, based on stats submitted to MN Soccer Hub. She had one in a 6-4 win Oct. 4 vs. New Life Academy and two in a 6-4 loss vs. Trinity. Anzures scored four vs. New Life Academy and two vs. Trinity.

Top performer candidates

Liza Timm, Hope Academy. The freshman leads both boys and girls in the state, based on stats submitted to MN Soccer Hub, in goals with 45. Timm's next closest competitor has 36. She had her ninth outing of three goals or more, scoring four with an assist in an 8-1 win Oct. 4 vs. Brooklyn Center. Timm added a goal and assist in a 3-0 win Oct. 5 vs. United Christian Academy and three goals and an assist in a 4-1 win Oct. 7 at St. Paul Harding.

Ava StanchinaNorthfield. In eight games logged on MN Soccer Hub, Stanchina has scored 18 goals to go with three assists. The junior's biggest offensive output of the season came in a 12-1 win Oct. 5 at Faribault with six goals and an assist. Stanchina tacked on another goal in a 2-2 tie Oct. 7 vs. Rochester John Marshall.

Olivia Olson, Benilde-St. Margaret's. The junior goalkeeper has three shutouts in her last four outings, including blanking a ranked foe in the Class 2A coaches' poll, No. 5 Hill-Murray, in a 0-0 tie Oct. 9. Olson saved six of eight shots in a 3-2 win Oct. 5 at Chanhassen and saved all seven in a 2-0 win Oct. 7 vs. Waconia. Olson has a .960 save percentage this season.

Berit Parten, Minnehaha Academy. With at least one goal in 12 of 14 games, Parten has ascended to seventh in the state with 28 goals. The sophomore forward recorded a hat trick with two assists in an 11-0 win Oct. 5 at Providence Academy. She capped the regular season with two goals in a 4-3 win Oct. 7 at Visitation.
