See who fans voted as the top performer from Aug. 30-Sept. 4.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.

Top performer winner

Annelise Winch, Mankato West. The senior forward notched a hat trick and made sure to get her teammates involved, too. Winch scored three times and assisted twice on Aug. 31 in a 6-0 victory at Waseca. She led the Scarlets with two goals the next game, a 6-2 win Sept. 2 vs. Northfield. Winch’s six goals are tied for fifth in the state, based on stats submitted to the MN Soccer Hub.

Top performer candidates

Paige Kalal, Champlin Park. The state’s goals leader has reached the top thanks to three hat tricks. Her nine goals are one better than the competition, based on stats submitted to the MN Soccer Hub. Kalal picked up two hat tricks last week in a 3-3 tie Aug. 31 at Rogers and a 3-0 win Sept. 2 at Rogers. The junior midfielder is part of a Rebels squad ranked No. 7 in the Class 3A coaches' poll.

Lauren Eckerle, White Bear Lake. Eckerle nearly helped White Bear Lake pull off the upset over No. 3-2A Mahtomedi. The senior midfielder scored and assisted in the 3-2 loss Aug. 31. Two days later, Eckerle scored once and assisted twice in a 6-1 win vs. Lakeville South.

Elizabeth Grams, Forest Lake. Few have had to work as hard for a shutout this season as Grams. The sophomore goalkeeper made 20 saves to help the Rangers salvage a 0-0 tie Sept. 2 at Cambridge-Isanti. It was Grams’ second shutout in as many games.

Chloe Sandness, Academy of Holy Angels. No one has gotten a shot past Sandness through three games. The junior goalkeeper is part of the No. 2-2A Stars' squad coming off a 1-0 win Sept. 2 over No. 4-1A Holy Family Catholic. Sandness saved six shots and has 17 on the season for the 3-0 Stars.
