And the winner is...MN Soccer Hub Boys' Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from Sept. 21-26.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Miguel Leon Alvarado, Richfield. The Spartans' senior forward tallied a season-high six points to pace Richfield’s 11-0 victory over Brooklyn Center on Sept. 25. Alvarado scored three goals and added three assists, increasing his season points total to 24. His 11 assists tie him with Andover's Alex Cole for No. 4 in the state.

Top performer candidates

Alex Cole, Andover. The senior midfielder extended his points streak to five games, recording four assists on Sept. 22 in the Huskies’ 5-1 defeat of Anoka. Cole has recorded 11 assists this season, tied for fourth most in the state with Richfield's Miguel Leon Alvarado.

Alex Converse, Minneapolis Washburn. Converse carried the Millers’ offense, recording two goals and a pair of assists, in a 4-1 triumph over Minneapolis Edison on Sept. 22. It was the second time this season the senior defender registered four points in a match. He leads his team with six goals and four assists.

Nicholas Karam, Eastview. The sophomore registered three goals and an assist in a 4-4 draw on Sept. 22 with Eagan. He leads the Lightning with 11 goals this season.

Evan Sherk, St. Michael-Albertville. The junior goalkeeper recorded his second shutout this season, stopping 13 shots to lead the Knights to a 2-0 win against Hopkins on Sept. 22.
