And the winner is...MN Soccer Hub Boys' Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from Sept. 14-19.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Joe Deuitch, St. Paul Humboldt. The senior midfielder played the part of playmaker in the Governors’ 10-0 rout of St. Paul Johnson on Sept. 17. Deuitch tallied five assists along with his first goal of the season, leading the Governors. Deuitch leads the state with 13 assists this season, based on stats submitted to the MN Soccer Hub.

Top performer candidates

Max Comfere, Rochester Century. The Panthers needed all the offense that Comfere could produce, and the junior forward came through recording three goals and two assists in the Panthers’ 5-4 win at Rochester John Marshall on Sept. 18.

Greggory Stallard, Red Wing. The sophomore goalkeeper was nearly perfect in the Wingers’ 1-1 draw at Rochester John Marshall on Sept. 15, allowing a lone goal in the second half. He made a season-high 17 saves in the tie, raising his season total to 67 saves in six games played.

Keegan Chastey, Duluth Denfeld. The Hunters took down Superior 9-0 on Sept. 17, featuring Chastey who extended his goal-scoring streak to four games. The senior midfielder tallied five goals in the win and has scored two or more goals in each of the last four games. Chastey is tied with Tyler Johnson of Dover-Eyota for the league lead with 17 goals.

Bishop Schugel, Holy Family Catholic. Schugel scored all five goals for the Fire in a 5-1 win against New Prague on Sept. 14, and then he recorded two goals and an assist three days later in a 6-1 defeat of Hutchinson.
