And the winner is... MN Soccer Hub Boys' Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the Top Performer for Sept. 30 - Oct. 5.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer winner

Joshua Johnston, Rocori. The sophomore midfielder assisted on three goals in Rocori's (12-1-3, 5-1-3) 9-0 rout of Spectrum on Sept. 30. He had a goal and assist the next day in a 11-0 win at Fergus Falls.

Top performer candidates

Gabriel Nyenka, Park Center. Nyenka found the back of the net in each of Park Center's (10-1-4, 8-1-4) three matches a week ago, extending the Pirates' unbeaten streak to 10 games to close the regular season. Park Center earned a 1-1 draw against Blaine on Oct. 3 behind Nyenka's goal.

Demetri Regas, Duluth Denfeld. The junior was a wall in goal, putting Duluth Denfeld (9-6-1, 3-2-0) in position to grab two wins last week. Regas made nine saves in the Hunters' 3-2 defeat of Superior on Oct. 1 and eight saves in a 3-0 shutout of Grand Rapids two days later.

Kilian Schotzko, Rochester Lourdes. With two or more goals in three straight games, Schotzko pushed Rochester Lourdes (10-5-1, 6-1-0) to a 3-0 record last week. His highlight was recording a hat trick in the Eagles' 5-0 defeat of Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Oct. 3.

Joey Schreier, La Crescent-Hokah. Schreier was crucial to La Crescent-Hokah's (13-1-1, 9-0-1) offense, recording five assists in three games. The sophomore midfielder notched a goal and two assists in the Lancers' 8-2 victory at Caledonia on Oct. 4.
