Hailey Dyba and Abby Schulte made sure their fellow senior teammates would celebrate on a dreary evening.

The pair each had a goal to help lift Maple Grove over Andover 2-0 and send the Crimson's upperclassmen off the pitch on Senior Night with bright smiles despite being soaked with rain.

Schulte's second-half goal was assisted by Hannah Zahn and came off a corner kick by Luca Ralph just five minutes after halftime.

Andover responded with an uptick in energy, but it did nothing to erase the deficit as the Huskies lost and ended a 12-game winning streak.

With the win, Maple Grove extended its winning streak to 10 games and an important confidence boost heading into the postseason.

Maple Grove also closed the gap in the race for the Northwest Suburban Conference title and is just two points behind Andover in the standings with each team having one league game remaining in the regular season.

The Crimson visit Coon Rapids on Thursday, while the Huskies host Champlin Park, which defeated Blaine Tuesday night to win its ninth consecutive game and improve to 12-0-1 overall and 10-0-1 in league play.
