And the winner is... MN Soccer Hub Boys' Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the Top Performer for Sept. 23-28.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer winners

Ben Lessert, Farmington. Lessert recorded two points — a goal and an assist — on Sept. 25, leading Farmington (9-4-0, 5-2-0) to a 3-0 defeat of Prior Lake. The senior forward had another goal the next day, in the Tigers' 3-0 victory over Shakopee.

Marco Lopez, Lake City. Finishing with 10 saves in the match, Lopez held off Triton/Kenyon-Wanamingo in Lake City's (4-6-3, 3-2-1) 2-1 win on Sept. 24. The junior goalkeeper posted a shutout his following match on Sept. 26, with five saves in a 3-0 defeat of Schaeffer Academy.

Top performer candidates

Adam Bergh, Delano. Bergh, a senior forward, tallied four goals and an assist for Delano (5-7-2, 1-4-1), leading the Tigers to a 6-0 takedown of Hutchinson on Sept. 24.

Jesus Galvan-Garcia, Centennial. The junior defender has anchored the Centennial (11-2-0, 8-2-0) back line, helping the Cougars win eight consecutive games without conceding a goal. Last week, the Cougars beat Totino-Grace 2-0 on Sept. 23, and followed that by edging Blaine 1-0 on Thursday.

Christian Rodriguez, Rocori. The senior forward contributed to seven of Rocori's ( 11-1-3, 4-1-3) eight goals — five goals and two assists — last week, guiding the Spartans to two wins and a draw.
