And the winner is... MN Soccer Hub Girls' Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the Top Performer for Sept. 23-28.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer winner

Kenzie Jacobson, Rosemount. Contributing vital points last week, Jacobson led Rosemount, ranked No. 5 in the Class 2A coaches' poll, to a pair of wins. She scored twice versus Eastview on Sept. 24, leading the Irish (12-2-0, 6-1-0) to a 3-0 win. She provided a goal and an assist two days later, helping take down Apple Valley 4-1.

Top performer candidates

Kiana Bender, Cloquet-Carlton. The senior forward's best statistical performance came at Duluth Marshall on Sept. 26, where Bender registered two goals and an assist, pushing Cloquet-Carlton (12-2-0, 5-0-0) to a 4-3 victory. She had four goals and four assists last week.

Briana Henaman, North Lakes Academy. Henaman, a sophomore forward, notched all four North Lakes' (8-2-0, 3-2-0) goals in its 4-1 victory over Spectrum on Sept. 26, raising her season total to a team-high 21 goals.

Kendra Nesvold, New Ulm. The junior goalie stopped 15 shots to put New Ulm (9-4-1, 6-3-1) in position to beat Waseca 2-0 on Sept. 23 — the first of her two shutouts last week.

Julianne Waggie, Schaeffer Academy. Waggie, a midfielder, had a hat trick and an assist on Sept. 23, steering Schaeffer Academy (4-10-0, 1-1-0) to a 4-2 triumph over Cannon Falls. The senior has 16 goals this season.
