Top Performer winner

Emma Knack, St. Francis. The freshman goalie posted two shutouts in three games played for St. Francis (8-4-0, 4-1-0), increasing her season save total to 99. Seven of those saves came in the Fighting Saints' 4-0 defeat of Princeton on Sept. 17.

Top performer candidates

Maddie Dahlien, Edina. The sophomore forward recorded four total points in a pair of 3-0 wins last week, including two goals against Eden Prairie on Sept. 21. She helped the Hornets (11-1-0, 7-1-0), who are ranked No. 1 in the Class 2A coaches' association poll, extend their win streak to four straight games.

Abi Frandsen, Monticello. The midfielder's eight goals in three matches last week contributed to comfortable victories for Monticello (8-2-1, 3-1-0), which won each game by three or more goals.

Lauren Hodny, Moorhead. Hodny, a senior committed to Bemidji State, has been crucial to Moorhead's seven-game winning streak. Her highlight performance came against Detroit Lakes on Sept. 19, when she produced a hat trick and three assists, helping the Spuds (9-3-0) to a 6-1 victory.

Paige Peltier, Cretin-Derham Hall. The Notre Dame commit has been explosive with the ball, tallying 16 of her state-leading 26 goals this season in her last four matches. She catapulted Cretin-Derham Hall (7-3-0, 4-1-0) to a 5-4 victory over Mounds View on Sept. 17, scoring all five of her team's goals.
