And the winner is... MN Soccer Hub Girls' Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the Top Performer for Sept. 9-14.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Soccer Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top Performer winner

Chloe Torgerson, East Grand Forks. Seven goals in three games from Torgerson helped power East Grand Forks (6-1-1, 3-0-1) to a 3-0 record last week. Following four goals in a 15-0 pounding of Crookston on Sept. 10, she put in two more two days later to help the Green Wave to a 4-3 win over Detroit Lakes.

Top performer candidates

Katherine Jones, Visitation. Two goals and an assist from the senior forward on Sept. 14 powered Visitation (8-0-2, 2-0-0) past St. Paul Academy 3-2, helping keep the Blazers, ranked No. 4 in the Class 1A coaches' poll, undefeated.

Bella Meier, Hastings. Meier distributed four assists in an 8-0 victory over Tartan on Sept. 10. Then, Hastings (6-1-1, 1-0-1) tallied its third consecutive win behind a goal and an assist from the sophomore midfielder on Sept., 14, helping the Raiders beat Irondale 3-0.

Sydney Paulsen, Holy Family Catholic. The goalie helped hold Holy Family Catholic (5-3-0, 2-1-0) together, making 20 saves in the Fire's 2-1 triumph over New Prague on Sept. 10. Her next game, Paulsen registered a shutout with five saves as Holy Family Catholic beat Rockford 3-0.

Shar Too, St. Paul Como Park. Too tallied four goals and an assist in three matches last week. Two of which were key were crucial for St. Paul Como Park (8-2-0, 3-0-0) — the game winner in a 1-0 victory over St. Croix Prep on Sept. 9 and four days later in a 2-1 defeat of St. Paul Central.
