Boys' top games: Holy Angels looks to remain unbeaten against resurgent Brooklyn Center

We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.






Other games to keep an eye on

St. Louis Park vs. Bloomington Kennedy, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10. Both of these Metro West Conference teams are unbeaten, with No. 3-2A St. Louis Park (6-0-0, 1-0-0) shutting out four of its six opponents. Bloomington Kennedy (3-0-2, 0-0-0), meanwhile, leans on an offense which has outscored opponents 15-3.

Totino-Grace vs. Andover, 5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10. No. 4-1A Totino-Grace (3-1-0, 1-1-0) has rebounded nicely from a 4-3 season-opening loss to Northwest Suburban Conference foe Elk River, winning its next three games by a combined score of 12-4. Andover (5-1-0, 3-0-0), which is tied with Park Center for first place in the Northwest Suburban standings, is coming off an 8-1 rout of St. Francis on Saturday.
