Top Performer winner

Top performer candidates

Elizabeth Carter, Schaeffer Academy. Carter was stout in net, stopping 31 shots in Schaeffer Academy's 2-1 loss to Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Aug. 24. She had 50 saves in the Lions' (0-4, 0-0) first two matches.

Kaia Kennedy, PACT. With 10 goals in three matches, Kennedy entered the week tied for the state lead in goals, according to stats entered to the MN Soccer Hub. Her biggest night came against Fridley on Aug. 22, when she kicked in five goals, helping the Panthers (3-0, 0-0) win 5-1.

Paige Peltier, Cretin-Derham Hall. The senior forward was involved in six of Cretin-Derham Hall's last seven goals entering the week. Peltier has tallied nine goals and two assists for the Raiders (3-0, 0-0) on the season.

Kindra Peterson, Hillcrest Lutheran. A seven-goal outburst from Peterson in the Comets' (2-1, 2-0) third match of the season — a 9-0 win at Pelican Rapids on Aug. 30 — puts her at 10 goals, tied atop the state with PACT's Kennedy.
