After 90 minutes of regulation time, and two, 5-minute overtime sessions, the match remained deadlocked in 1-1 tie.

The St. Peter Saints boys soccer team hosted the Bluejays of Waseca in the South Central Conference openerat the high school stadium Tuesday night, and after 90 minutes of regulation time, and two, 5-minute overtime sessions, the match remained deadlocked in 1-1 tie.

Both teams were able to stop their opponent from forming any strong offensive attack. St. Peter could gain possession of the ball, start their play from the middle to the wings, but the Bluejay defense did not allow penetration down the side, or allow the Saints to change direction back to the middle. The Saints held defensively as well, stopping Waseca the middle and blocking any wide pass plays.
