The Simley High School boys soccer team held onto their 1-0 lead against the Tartan Titans on Wednesday evening at Tartan High School.

The Spartans scored early in the first half of the Classic Suburban Conference matchup, then Simley fought off several Titan scoring opportunities late in the first half. The second half belonged to the Spartans, as Tartan spent most of the final 40 minutes trying to get the ball out of their own end of the playing field.

The Spartans 3-0-1 on the season, including the latest win. The team defeated Hastings 1-0 and Rochester Century 2-0, but tied The Blake School 1-1. Simley hosts St. Paul Humbolt at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
