Monticello vs. Princeton

4:15 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6

Here we go with another conference-deciding showdown. Monticello and Princeton share the Mississippi 8 Conference lead with 6-0-0 records. Both have one conference game remaining — this one on Wednesday in Princeton.

Monticello (7-5-1) has lost just once in its last six outings. Junior Andrew Roff leads a balanced Magic attack with eight goals.

Princeton (8-3-2) is riding a seven-game unbeaten streak and is coming off 4-0 victories over both Cambridge-Isanti and Becker last week. Tigers senior Cooper Nowak ranks fourth in the state with 24 goals and has been held scoreless just twice in 13 games.
