Minnehaha Academy vs.
Visitation

4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 7

After a sluggish start to the season (one win in five games), Visitation reeled off six straight wins, four of those by shutout. The No. 8-2A Blaze (8-5-1) have cooled somewhat recently, however, suffering two losses in their last three games.

It’s doubtful Visitation will be down for long. Not with two big-time goal scorers in seniors Ella Sukup and Lindsay Iverson powering its potent offense.

Minnehaha Academy dispatched No. 10-1A Fairmont last Friday, routing the Cardinals 5-1 behind four Berit Parten goals. Parten, a sophomore, has 23 goals for the No. 2-1A Redhawks (8-2-2) this season to rank in a tie for fifth in the state.
