Watertown-Mayer (8-2-1), tied for third place in the Wright County Conference, has won its last four games by a combined score of 16-3. Royals top scorer Maris Heun ranks among the state leaders with 15 goals.
After starting the season winless in its first three games, Willmar has won three straight and five of its last six to help the Cardinals climb into a tie for second in the Central Lakes Conference. Ellery Lange is among the scoring leaders for the Cardinals.
