Call it Academy Soccer. And it doesn’t get much better than when these two powerhouses clash. Earlier this season, No. 1-1A St. Paul Academy slipped past No. 4-1A Minnehaha Academy 3-2 when the teams met on Sept. 9, and Tuesday’s rematch figures to be just as thrilling.
St. Paul Academy (8-1-1) has six shutouts and is led by Mia Hofmann’s nine goals.
Minnehaha Academy (7-1-2) features the state’s No. 4-ranked goal scorer in sophomore Berit Parten, who has 19. She’s scored at least one goal in all but one game.
