Gus Langford’s 14 goals are nine more than the next highest total among DeLaSalle players, but the No. 1-2A Islanders (11-0-0) wouldn’t be one of the state’s most dominant teams if they couldn’t play some defense, too.
DeLaSalle has six shutouts and four games in which it has allowed just one goal. Richfield and Holy Angels are the only teams to lose to the Islanders by a single goal.
