Among the five victories for Fairmont (5-0-1, 4-0-1), this fall was a 3-0 season-opening triumph over St. Peter on Aug. 26. The Cardinals prepared for their debut by various bonding exercises, including an elaborate scavenger hunt for a specially marked block of wood.
Mackenzie Householder and Rayah Quiring are Fairmont’s senior captains, and Quiring scored twice in the victory over St. Peter.
The Saints (3-2, 3-1) posted back-to-back 5-0 victories against Worthington and Mankato Loyola, and feature senior co-captain Katie Gurrola at goalkeeper.
