Shakopee vs.

Lakeville North

5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1

Shakopee is unbeaten in its last seven games and the Sabres’ only loss came back on Aug. 29 — a 5-1 setback to an Eagan team that No. 8-2A Shakopee had beaten by the same score two days earlier to open the season.

More recently, Shakopee (6-1-2, 6-0-1) is coming off a 6-0 rout of Rosemount on Sept. 24 in which senior Zach Susee scored four goals to bump his season total to 20 — the most in the state.

Lakeville North (8-0-1, 6-0-1) shares the South Suburban Conference lead with Shakopee with 19 points — the next closest teams have 11 points. The No. 5-2A Panthers rely heavily on the scoring of the Sedlacek brothers, senior Ethan (6 goals) and sophomore Elijah (5 goals).
