Khyah Harper's hat trick led second-seeded Centennial to a 3-1 victory over top-seeded Andover in the Class 2A, Section 7 championship game at Andover High School on Tuesday night.

With the victory, the Cougars earned their seventh trip to the state tournament since 2009 but will be making their first since winning the title in 2016. They also avenged a 6-2 loss to the Huskies in a Northwest Suburban Conference meeting on Aug. 27.

Harper opened the scoring 13 minutes into the game when she collected a penalty kick rebound and sent it past Andover goalkeeper Ava Braun.
