Park Center vs. Andover

5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 26

Park Center has scored five goals in a game four times this season.

Andover, meanwhile, begins the week tied for fifth in the state in team scoring with 47 goals.

Those numbers would indicate this Northwest Suburban Conference showdown most likely will not be a defensive struggle (although Park Center won this matchup 1-0 last season).

Andover's Andrew Rowland and Joshua Edwards each have eight goals, and Noah Eklund has seven for the No. 7-2A Huskies (10-1-0, 8-0-0), who have gone unbeaten since losing 2-1 to No. 3-2A Woodbury on Aug. 29.

Eddie Swen and Chief Williams are among the scoring leaders for Park Center (7-1-1, 6-1-1), the Class 2A state runner-up in 2004 and a state qualifier in 2015.
