St. Paul Central vs.

St. Paul Como Park

7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13

Judging by early season results, these teams appear, along with St. Paul Highland Park, to be the class of the St. Paul City Conference.

St. Paul Central (6-1-0, 3-0-0) counts a 22-0 triumph over St. Paul Johnson on Sept. 5 among its victories. Assem Elsayad, who’s scored in every game except a 2-0 loss to Apple Valley on Aug. 24, leads the Minutemen with 11 goals.

St. Paul Como Park (4-1-1, 2-1-0) has two shutouts among its four victories, and features a gamebreaker on offense in senior attacker Abdulaziz Ahmed, who has eight goals and two assists.
