On the North side of section 8, East Grand Forks enters postseason play as the No. 1 seed following an undefeated regular season.
The Green Wave, which is receiving votes in the 1A poll, stood strong defensively during the regular season. East Grand Forks (15-0) allowed just 11 goals in 15 matches.
Bemidji (8-5-1) will look to challenge the Green Wave as the No. 2 seed in the north.
The Lumberjacks are followed by No. 3 seed Detroit Lakes (9-6-1) and fourth-seeded Fergus Falls (2-12-1).
Sartell-St. Stephen will be the south's No. 1 seed. The Sabres (11-3-2) will face tough competition with south No. 2 seed St. Cloud Cathedral (10-4-1) and No. 3 seed St. Cloud Apollo (8-6-1). The Eagles and Sartell-St. Stephen played to a 1-1 draw earlier this season.
Sauk Rapids-Rice is the No. 4 seed on the south side.
