Eagan is the No. 1 seed in Section 3 after finishing the regular season with an 11-2-2 record. The No. 8-2A Wildcats did not lose to a single section opponent, including a 4-0 victory over second-seeded Burnsville (11-4-1).
Eagan won Class 2A state titles in 2014 and 2015 before falling to Rosemount in the section tournament a year ago.
The Irish (8-5-2) earned the No. 3 seed this year, while Eastview (6-8-1) took the No. 4 seed.
