Following an undefeated regular season, Mankato West captured the No. 1 seed in Section 2.
The Scarlets are ranked seventh in the final Class 1A coaches' poll of the season and finished the regular season with a 13-0-3 record.
Senior forward McKenna Buisman leads the way for Mankato West. She scored 18 goals in 16 games this season.
Northfield (12-1-1) enters this year's section tournament as the No. 2 seed. The No. 10-1A Raiders tied the Scarlets in their lone regular season meeting.
Waseca (14-1-1) is the No. 3 seed and Waconia (11-2-2) is No. 4.
