Roseville has earned the No. 1 seed in section 5.
The Raiders, who are seventh in the state rankings, have turned into the favorite in Section 5, an impressive turnaround after finishing last season with a record below .500.
Senior midfielder Jonas Kazlauskas leads the way for Roseville with 16 goals. The Raiders (11-3-2) will open section play against No. 8 seed Centennial (4-9-2), a team Roseville defeated 4-0 in the regular season.
If Roseville is to make it to the semifinals, the Raiders will face the winner of Osseo (5-6-2) and Mounds View. The fifth-seeded Mustangs (6-8-2) look to make a second consecutive trip to the Class 2A tournament, but first must get past the fourth-seeded Orioles.
Champlin Park (7-5-2) is the No. 2 seed.
