Defending Class 2A champion Stillwater received the No. 1 seed in section 4.
The Ponies, who are second in the coaches’ poll, come into the postseason with just one defeat, which was a 1-0 loss to No. 3 seed Woodbury (9-3).
Stillwater (11-1-1) will look to replicate its success behind its strong defense and offensive prowess. Junior Spencer Scott leads the Ponies with 16 goals and seven assists this season.
Second-seeded East Ridge will also pose a threat to Stillwater’s section championship chances. The Raptors (9-3-2) gave the Ponies their lone tie of the season -- a 1-1 draw at the end of September.
The fourth seed is North St. Paul (10-4-1).
