St. Paul Central at St. Paul Highland Park
3:15 p.m., Monday, Sept. 25

This is the second installment of this rivalry this season, and this time it has big implications in the St. Paul City Conference title race. St. Paul Central beat St. Paul Highland Park 1-0 at home a few weeks ago, a win that gave Central a two-point lead in the conference standings.

Each team has four conference games left, and the race looks like it's coming down to these two rivals. The Minutemen (9-2-1, 7-1-0) have cruised through the conference, with their only stumble a 2-0 loss to St. Paul Washington. They face the Eagles again to close out the regular season, but arguably their biggest test will be on Monday against St. Paul Highland Park.

Even if the Scots (8-2-2, 6-1-1) had no conference points, they would be motivated to beat St. Paul Central. They should be extra-motivated now that this game will have conference title implications. The Scots are going to need help from Edwin Elias, who has been a center point for their attack all year. He leads the team with five assists.
