St. Thomas Academy vs. North St. Paul
7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28

This game features two teams that are unbeaten in Metro East Conference play.

North St. Paul leads the league with 15 points, while St. Thomas Academy trails the Polars by three points but has one more conference game remaining than its opponent.

The Cadets (7-1-1, 4-0-0) are coming off their biggest win of the season, a 2-1 victory over Mahtomedi on Sept. 21. Aman Bird and Dillon Lovegreen scored for the Cadets, who kept the Zephyrs in third place in the conference standings, effectively making the league title race a two-team affair.

The Polars (7-3-1, 5-0-0) have five games left this regular season, including four at home. Four of those five are also conference games.

Both North St. Paul and St. Thomas Academy have allowed only two goals in conference play. However, the Cadets have a better goal differential, so a tie would give the title to St. Thomas Academy.
