White Bear Lake at East Ridge
5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 21

The final game of the week showcases teams looking to bounce back after coming off losses as No. 8-2A White Bear Lake travels to No. 7-2A East Ridge.

The Bears (4-2-3, 0-1-2) were unbeaten at the start of last week but have since lost twice and tied once. If they are going to get back to their winning ways, they’ll need more consistent performances from their defense and goalkeeper Colin Hupert, who has a save percentage of .906 this season. The team is in seventh place in the Suburban East Conference with two points, but could make up ground with a victory on Thursday.

The Raptors (5-2, 2-0) sit three points behind Stillwater in the Suburban East standings. They lost to No. 2-2A Wayzata 4-1 on Saturday, with Graham Phipps scoring the lone goal. The team also lost 3-2 to No. 4-2A Minneapolis Washburn earlier in the year. The Raptors have outscored their opponents 22-1 in their five wins.
